Andriï Parouby

Andriï Parouby was a prominent Ukrainian politician, serving as the President of the Ukrainian Parliament from 2016 to 2019. He was a key figure in Ukraine's pro-European revolutions, including the Orange Revolution in 2004 and the Maidan protests in 2014, where he played a pivotal role in organizing defense groups. Parouby was known for his strong advocacy for Ukrainian independence and language, and had previously survived an assassination attempt. His recent murder in Lviv has drawn national outrage and raised concerns over political violence in Ukraine.
