Anelise Quintão Lara

Anelise Quintão Lara is a Brazilian chemical engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having served as the Executive Director of Refining and Natural Gas at Petrobras from 2019 to 2021. She holds a master's degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering and a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from Université Pierre et Marie Curie. Currently, she is nominated to be an independent board member of Vale's Management Council for the 2025-2027 term, although her past role at Petrobras during the Bolsonaro administration was notably omitted from her profile.
