
Annette Lu
Annette Lu is a prominent Taiwanese politician and member of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). She served as the Vice President of Taiwan from 2000 to 2008 and is known for her advocacy for human rights and democratic reforms. Lu gained significant attention during her campaign for Taoyuan County Commissioner in the wake of political violence in the 1990s, which saw her elected as a response to the assassination of her predecessor.
