Tang Fei

Tang Fei is a Legislative Council member representing the Education sector in Hong Kong. Recently, he was in the news discussing the challenges of student enrollment in local schools, particularly in light of the rising number of students from talent schemes and the need for a sustainable approach to address the issue of declining birth rates. He emphasized that while the influx of students may provide some relief to the education system, relying solely on the children of skilled migrants will not solve the underlying enrollment problems, and he proposed exploring overseas student admissions as a potential solution.
