Anton Cermak
Anton Cermak was the Mayor of Chicago who was shot during an assassination attempt on President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 15, 1933. He was one of the five individuals injured by Giuseppe Zangara's gunfire and succumbed to his injuries shortly after, leading to Zangara's conviction and execution.
