Antonina Favorskaja

Antonina Favorskaja is a Russian photographer known for her coverage of high-profile legal cases, particularly those involving the late opposition leader Alexei Navalny. She has reported extensively on the trials against Navalny, including his last court appearance just two days before his death in February 2024. Favorskaja, along with three other journalists, was recently sentenced to five and a half years in prison for their association with Navalny's political organization, which the Russian government has labeled as extremist.
