Apti Iraskhanov is known as the chief of security for Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. He was recently in the news due to a severe car accident involving Kadyrov's convoy, where he sustained a serious neck injury, a broken vertebra, while providing protection for Kadyrov and his bodyguards. Iraskhanov is also noted to be the nephew of Aslan Iraskhanov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic.
