Archer Milton Huntington

Archer Milton Huntington was an American philanthropist and collector, known for founding the Hispanic Society of America. He was approached to acquire one of the wooden ceilings from the palace of the Dukes of Maqueda but ultimately declined the offer, which led to its sale to another collector.
