Charles Deering

Charles Deering was an American businessman and art collector known for his ambition to establish a significant center for Spanish art in Sitges, Spain. He acquired one of the wooden ceilings from the palace of the Dukes of Maqueda, which later became part of the collection at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
