Aruna Miller

Aruna Miller is the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, having taken office in January 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Maryland House of Delegates and has a background in civil engineering. Miller is known for her emphasis on transparency and accountability in government, as well as her advocacy for social justice and equity. Recently, she has been in the news for pushing back against former President Donald Trump's allegations of corruption related to mail-in ballot errors in Maryland's election process.
