Asal Alamdari is a 39-year-old animal rights activist originally from Iran, who has been residing in Australia since 2010. She has been actively involved in protests supporting the Iranian opposition and has expressed her concerns about the situation in Iran, particularly regarding the regime's internet blackouts and their impact on families. Alamdari has not returned to Iran in 16 years and has voiced her solidarity with the ongoing protests in her homeland, advocating for the overthrow of the current government.
