Astrid Dedieu

Entering her fourth year of a PhD at University College Cork, Astrid Dedieu hails from southwest France and conducts research on the effects of offshore energy generation on seabirds. Despite facing financial challenges and feeling undervalued compared to her peers in France, she remains passionate about her work and appreciates the supportive environment of her research group.
