Astrid Elburg

Astrid Elburg is a Surinamese-Dutch activist and the chairperson of the Memorial Committee for Slavery History. She is a prominent voice in discussions surrounding education and historical awareness of slavery, advocating for the inclusion of these narratives in the school curriculum to address systemic inequalities faced by black youth in the Netherlands.
