Aurel Dragoș Munteanu

Aurel Dragoș Munteanu, born on January 16, 1942, in Buda, Moldova, was a notable Romanian prose writer and essayist who played a significant role in post-1989 Romanian public life. He served as the first director of post-revolutionary Romanian Television and held important diplomatic positions, including ambassador to the UN and the USA.
