Ayd Ayoub

Ayd Ayoub is a 57-year-old engineer and academic who recently left Gaza after being unable to do so for a year due to Israeli restrictions. He holds a doctorate and a master's degree from a French university and had been seeking to relocate to France with his family. Ayoub's departure came after Israel unexpectedly eased its strict border controls, allowing him and others to leave amidst ongoing conflict and humanitarian crises in Gaza.
