Baktiar

Baktiar, referring to Shahpour Bakhtiar, was the last Prime Minister of Iran before the 1979 Islamic Revolution. He played a significant role in the political landscape during the tumultuous period leading up to the overthrow of the Shah, attempting to maintain stability amid widespread protests and civil unrest. Despite his efforts to resist the revolution, Bakhtiar's government ultimately collapsed, leading to the rise of the Islamic Republic under Ayatollah Khomeini.
