Baris Boyun
Baris Boyun is a Kurdish individual who led a criminal network involved in drug trafficking, arms trading, and human smuggling into Europe. He was arrested in May 2022 during a coordinated operation involving law enforcement agencies from Italy, Switzerland, Bosnia, and the Netherlands, despite being under house arrest at the time. Boyun is suspected of orchestrating plans for terrorist attacks in Europe and maintaining control over his operations from confinement.
