Bedros Kirkorov
Bedros Kirkorov was a renowned Soviet and Bulgarian singer, born on June 2, 1932, in Varna, Bulgaria, to an Armenian family. He moved to Moscow in the early 1960s to pursue his career in music and quickly became a prominent figure in the Soviet music scene. Known for his contributions to the genre, he was the first singer in the Soviet Union to perform with an orchestral backing track, paving the way for future artists. Over his career, he recorded around 50 songs and performed alongside notable musicians, including his son, Philipp Kirkorov. He was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia in 2012 and received various honors for his contributions to music. Bedros passed away at the age of 92 due to heart failure.
