Belarmino Tomás

Belarmino Tomás was a notable figure in Spanish history, serving as a leader in the miners' union and later as the president of the Sovereign Council of Asturias during the Spanish Civil War. His leadership and contributions to the revolutionary movement have been largely overlooked, and he is often described as the last democratic president before the dictatorship, making his story a focal point in Ramón Lluís Bande's works.
