Bernarda Vera, also known as 'Anita,' is a former militant of the Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR) who was believed to have been executed during Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship in Chile. After being detained by military forces in 1973, she was officially listed among the disappeared, but recent investigations revealed she may have been living in Argentina.
