Bernardo Rossellino

Bernardo Rossellino was an influential Italian architect of the 15th century, recognized for his role in the early stages of the new St. Peter's Basilica construction. Commissioned by Pope Nicholas V, Rossellino's work set the foundation for what would become a monumental example of Renaissance architecture.
