Bethany Clarke
Bethany Clarke is a 28-year-old woman who gained media attention following the tragic death of her best friend, Simone White, due to methanol poisoning while they were on holiday in Laos. After consuming potentially contaminated vodka shots at a hostel, both women fell seriously ill, with Simone ultimately succumbing to the poisoning. Bethany has since become an advocate for awareness about the dangers of consuming bootleg alcohol and has initiated a petition to incorporate education on methanol poisoning into school curriculums. She is currently working in Australia and has made a full recovery.
