Betty Awo

Betty Awo is a community leader and member of the Morobe Gender-Based Violence Action Committee in Papua New Guinea, providing vital support to women facing violence. A survivor herself, she offers counseling, writes affidavits, and runs awareness sessions to educate her community about gender-based violence and sorcery-related violence, working tirelessly to bring about change from the ground up.
