Bogd Khan

Bogd Khan was the last khan of Mongolia, ruling from 1911 until his death in 1924. A significant figure in Mongolian history, he was a spiritual leader and played a crucial role in the country's transition from a theocratic monarchy to a communist state. His reign was marked by internal strife and external pressures, particularly from Soviet influence, which ultimately led to the abolition of the monarchy. His death paved the way for the establishment of the Mongolian People's Republic.
