Bogdan Lăpușneanu
Bogdan Lăpușneanu, born on May 19, 1555, was a Moldavian prince and the son of Alexandru Lăpușneanu. He ascended to the throne at the young age of 15 after the assassination of his father and ruled from 1569 to 1572. His reign was marked by political intrigue, as he sought to align Moldova with Poland, which ultimately displeased the local nobility. After being captured by a Polish nobleman, he lost his power and died in Moscow in 1574.
