Brithney Lemus

Brithney Lemus is a mechanical engineering student at the University of the Valley of Guatemala (UVG) and a member of the Quetzal-2 project team. Coming from Petén, she represents the inclusion of women and students from provincial backgrounds in STEM fields. Lemus expresses her commitment to contributing to science and engineering in Guatemala while serving as a role model for other women and girls interested in these fields. Her involvement in the satellite project fulfills a personal dream and highlights the opportunities created by Quetzal-1.
