Callaghan O’Keeffe

Callaghan 'Cal' O’Keeffe was a 90-year-old retired primary school headmaster and farmer from Fermoy, Co Cork, who tragically lost his life while heroically saving a woman from being struck by a reversing car in a supermarket car park. His selfless act of bravery earned him a posthumous gold medal at the National Bravery Awards, celebrated for his caring nature and dedication to helping others.
