Carina Murcia
Yeimi Carina Murcia Yela, born in Puerto Asís (Putumayo), is a Colombian communication professional with a degree from the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. She holds a specialization in Government and Management from Universidad Externado and a master's degree in Human Rights from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Before her recent appointment as the acting Minister of Information and Communications Technologies (TIC), she served as the Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation and has experience in leading TIC appropriation initiatives within the ministry. Murcia has stepped in as acting minister previously, highlighting her significant role in Colombia's digital policy landscape.
