Carlos Habib Chater

Carlos Habib Chater is a Brazilian businessman and former owner of a fuel station implicated in the Lava-Jato operation. He was arrested in March 2014 alongside Alberto Youssef and later convicted in 2018 for financial irregularities, receiving a sentence of over ten years in prison. Recently, he sought to extend a legal ruling that annulled actions against Youssef, arguing that his case involved similar circumstances of judicial misconduct.
