
Carlos Pablo Márquez
Carlos Pablo Márquez is a prominent Colombian jurist with an extensive background in law and public service. He holds a law degree from the Universidad Javeriana, a master's degree from Harvard Law School, and a doctorate in Competition Law from the University of Oxford. Márquez has served in significant roles such as the director and commissioner of the Commission for the Regulation of Communications during President Juan Manuel Santos' administration and as the Superintendent for Competition Protection. He has also advised various government officials and has been a professor at several prestigious universities, including Columbia and Harvard. Recently, he was appointed as a substitute judge in the deliberation of a critical pension reform in Colombia, which is a flagship project of President Gustavo Petro.
