Carlton Fulford

Carlton Fulford is a retired United States Army general who served as the Deputy Commander of US Forces in Europe. He played a significant role in military operations and policy during the early 2000s, including the Iraq War. Fulford visited Niger to assess claims regarding Iraq’s alleged attempts to procure uranium and concluded that these claims were implausible, contributing to the skepticism within the US intelligence community regarding the justification for the war.
