Carmen Sinay López

Carmen Sinay López, aged 65, is the mother of José Carmelo Sinay Ortiz, known as 'El Inquieto', a fugitive gang member from Barrio 18. Along with her husband, she was arrested on charges of conspiracy for assassination and illicit association after their son escaped from the Fraijanes 2 prison. A judge ruled in their favor during a preliminary hearing, declaring a lack of merit for the charges, prompting the Public Ministry to announce plans to appeal the decision.
