Irma Yolanda Ortiz Peralta

Irma Yolanda Ortiz Peralta, aged 63, is the mother of José Carmelo Sinay Ortiz, alias 'El Inquieto', a notorious gang leader from Barrio 18. She and her husband were recently arrested for conspiring to commit murder and for illicit association, following their son's escape from the Fraijanes 2 prison in Guatemala. Despite the serious allegations, a judge granted them a lack of merit in their initial hearing, a decision that the Public Ministry is planning to appeal.
