Carmen Vergara

Carmen Vergara, a 69-year-old resident of La Chala in southwest Guayaquil, successfully obtained her Guayaca card in just 15 minutes at the Troncal 4 terminal of the Metrovía. She was among the first in line to access the new metro service, which connects her neighborhood to the city center, and expressed her eagerness to try the Metrovía for the first time with a small initial fare.
