Cathy O’Neill is an A-level student who, in 1977, conducted groundbreaking research that led to the discovery of the likely location of Anna Maria Vassa's grave. Her findings remained unrecognized for decades until they were revisited by Professor Victoria Avery in connection with ongoing research on the Equiano family.
