Susannah Cullen

Susannah Cullen was the wife of Olaudah Equiano, an influential Black abolitionist and author in 18th-century England. Originally from Ely, she married Equiano and together they had two daughters, including Anna Maria Vassa, who tragically died at a young age. Susannah's life was intertwined with the abolitionist movement, providing a supportive environment for her family during a time of significant social change.
