César Munayco
César Munayco is the director of the Centro Nacional de Epidemiología, Prevención y Control de Enfermedades (CDC) of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) in Peru. He has been actively involved in addressing public health issues, particularly in relation to infectious diseases. Recently, he was in the news for urging workers and residents in areas affected by yellow fever to get vaccinated after the country reported a concerning number of deaths and cases linked to the disease.
