Yonny Ureta Núñez

Yonny Ureta Núñez is the regional health manager for Lambayeque in Peru, responsible for overseeing public health initiatives and responses to disease outbreaks. He recently confirmed the first case of pertussis in the region after several years and has activated an epidemiological response plan, mobilizing health brigades to vaccinate and educate the community about prevention measures to contain the spread of this highly contagious disease.
