Chandramukhi Basu was an influential figure in the history of women's education in India, renowned for being one of the first female graduates in British India. Alongside her peer Kadambini Ganguly, she passed the FA examination in 1881 and subsequently earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1883 from Bethune College, becoming a trailblazer for women's rights in education.
