Charb, whose real name was Stéphane Charbonnier, was a prominent French cartoonist and the editor of Charlie Hebdo. He was known for his provocative and satirical illustrations, particularly against religious extremism, and was tragically killed in the terrorist attack on the magazine's office on January 7, 2015.
