Charles Rolls, born in 1877 in London, was a prominent British automobile engineer and co-founder of Rolls-Royce. Coming from a wealthy family, he received an excellent education and developed a passion for automobiles and aviation. Rolls became the first person in Britain to die in a powered aircraft accident in 1910, leaving a significant impact on the automotive and aviation industries.
