Chen Lizhu

Chen Lizhu is a farmer from Desheng Village in Zhangbei County, Hebei Province, who has seen significant improvements in his life and community following President Xi Jinping’s visit in 2017, which inspired local development efforts that helped lift the village out of poverty through tourism and agriculture.
