Cho Kuk
Cho Kuk is a former South Korean justice minister and legal academic who was once considered a rising political star. He served as the justice minister in 2019 but became embroiled in a major academic fraud scandal involving his children's college admissions. Convicted for forging documents and other offenses, he was sentenced to prison but was recently pardoned after serving less than half of his sentence.
