
Yoon Suk Yeol
Yoon Suk Yeol is a South Korean politician and attorney who has served as the President of South Korea since May 2022. Before his presidency, he held various significant positions, including serving as the Attorney General of South Korea. He is known for his tough stance on North Korea and has been involved in various controversies regarding national security and domestic policies. In December 2024, he was in the news for announcing a martial law aimed at eliminating pro-North Korean forces, which raised concerns about freedom of the press and the safety of authors and media figures in South Korea.
