Christian Ritscher

Christian Ritscher is a German lawyer and the current head of the United Nations Investigative Team to Promote Accountability for Crimes Committed by Daesh (UNITAD). He succeeded Karim Khan in this role, which involves leading efforts to collect evidence and support the prosecution of ISIS members for crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocide in Iraq. Ritscher's work continues to focus on enhancing international cooperation and legal frameworks to ensure accountability for atrocities committed by ISIS.
