Concepción Patiño Cestafe was the first head of the Unidad de Inteligencia Financiera (UIF) in Mexico, serving from its inception in 2004 until 2006. Under her leadership, the UIF began its mission to prevent and investigate financial operations linked to illicit resources, laying the groundwork for future administrations.
