Courtney Crum-Ewing was a former Guyana Defence Force officer and political activist who was murdered on March 10, 2015, while advocating for voters to reject the ruling People's Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) in the upcoming elections. His death, marked by brutality, has become a significant symbol of political violence in Guyana, and ten years later, his family and supporters continue to seek justice for his untimely demise.
