Cupid Wilkin was an enslaved African who played a transformative role in Moses Baker's life. By teaching Baker about prayer, thanksgiving, and the scriptures, Wilkin influenced Baker's spiritual journey, helping him to overcome personal struggles and ultimately leading him to become a prominent preacher in Jamaica.
