D. José Ornelas

D. José Ornelas is the Bishop of Leiria-Fátima and the president of the Portuguese Episcopal Conference. He is known for his active role in the Catholic Church in Portugal and has been involved in organizing significant religious events, such as the celebrations at the Sanctuary of Fátima. Recently, he extended an invitation to the newly elected Pope Leão XIV to preside over the celebrations on May 13, although the Pope had to decline due to scheduling conflicts.
