Dairon is a 27-year-old Cuban migrant who chose to abandon his quest for the American dream due to the increasingly strict immigration policies under President Donald Trump. He decided to settle in Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico, where he has built a supportive community with fellow Cubans. Despite the challenges of being undocumented, Dairon works in informal jobs at local markets to support himself while aiming to save money for his future.
